Government Employees Housing Welfare Society (GEHWS) is a project initiated as a Housing Welfare Measure for Central as well as State Government Employees and Defence Personals. GEHWS has been established to promote, control and co-ordinate different schemes relating to health, finance & housing for working and retired government employees as welfare measure.
After serving government employees for more than 20 years, the Governing Council of GEWO resolved to introduce GEHWS to serve employees of Central & State government, PSUs, employees of Railways and Banks along with Defence personals (Navy, Air Force and Army).
